Composer David Jaedyn Conley moves easily between the stridency of the Moderns and the sweetness of the Romantics. He is equally adept at writing polyrhythmic ensemble percussion and lyrical contrapuntal melodies. The result is both lush and austere, always evocative.
David Jaedyn Conley is a composer of modern eclectic music in multiple genres and styles. He is currently a studying for PhD in Melbourne Australia, and is actively composing music for film and multimedia.
Formerly, David worked as a live-to-air broadcast producer and engineer for Seattle's KING radio, honing his skills producing live broadcast performances of Symphonic, Chamber, orchestral, band and solo music
David has worked on many television and radio commercials, as well as many film such as "Jimmy Ritz", "Daddy and Pappa", and was assistant composer on the film "Rabbit in the Moon", winner of an Emmy for best documentary as well as Best Cinematography at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.
David has most recently composed music for several new Australian cartoon pilots, including "Frankenchicken" for Film Victoria and Big Kidz Entertainment, and 2004 Tropfests "Best of the Rest" winner "Bennys Hook", and has also worked on many other Australian films.
