With its combination of hard suspense and cool mystique, "The Da Vinci Code" puts a unique set of demands on a soundtrack composer. Gary Kibler proves himself up to the challenge with his cerebral score, which alternates between airy synth sketches and urgent orchestral suites.
Gary Kibler has a long history of composing, playing and recording his unique style of music. In 2006 he helped create a complete original music score and audio design for Sony Pictures and their major online game release of The Da Vinci Code. Bruce Maddocks, the accomplished sound engineer for a number of Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams soundtrack projects (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Last Samurai, Man On Fire) helped produced the final masters of these tracks in his Cups 'n Strings studio in Santa Monica, California.
Just following its release the BBC featured Gary's track Winds of Change on their popular Top Gear television program, a show with a reputation for showcasing some of the best of new and established music.
Gary most recently worked for Sony Pictures in their Games Studio in Culver City and for Sony Online Entertainment based in San Diego. He recently relocated to the UK just outside London where he is working on several new game and film projects.
