If Beck sung his "Sea Change" vocals to "Houses of the Holy" and DFA took over the mixing boards, the result would sound something like d/con. The Hull, U.K., acid/techno/emo project crafts grand collages that employ a Moby-like vernacular to create classic rock-style anthems.

With influences many and varied but including
Beck, Tortoise, Zeppelin and Can and using the skills of a few of many great
musicians from Hull, England [a vastly overlooked but fantastic music scene]
we
created many tunes ten of which made it on to recently completed
album
