This Virginia Beach collagist labels himself a New Ager, but his spacious soundscapes have enough bassy intensity to land on electronica's radar. Either way, Deosil promises healing, and that may not be too ambitious a claim. His compositions are dense and weighty, but also patient and immediately accessible.
Biography
The new sound of electronic ambience.
I began my musical path based on the idea that we are all transient souls; spiritual beings having a human existence. Having been around music, mainly piano, since childhood I had felt in the last few years to break away from normal form and function in musical structures. Now with the emergence of so many different genres and sub genres of music, finding one's niche can be challenging. In the area of 'New Age' all the sub genres like electronic ambience, spiritual chillout, meditation, healing - they should all engage the listener and captivate the very essence that makes us who we are. Each song that has been written serves as a window, or a portal, to another dimension.
Gazing beyond this realm that we call the now, the present, is what this music is meant to do. Remember to have an open heart, an open mind, and enjoy each song........and most inportantly, surround yourself with light and love.
