Biography
The Dirt Surfers were created by Doug Cornell (AKA "The Dirt Kahuna") in 1998. Our first song, "Trailer Park Kids Smashed My Mailbox," shot to number 1 on the now defunct MP3.com charts. While weve dabbled in vocal music, our main passion is instrumental surf rock. The Dirt Kahuna layers guitars with precision, creating an innovative and very energetic type of original music. Imagine "Pipeline" crossed with "London Calling," and you're part way there.
