Editor's review

The doctor is in. Sporting the commercial spirit of NYC nightlife, Dr. Dawg targets the crowd from the house and breakbeat angles. Charged with soaring female vocals, his tracks cascade with thick, radioactive synth leads, strobing electronics, and high-pressure bass lines over a set of beats that no dance floor can resist.

Biography

Dr. Dawg is a producer of dance and club tracks in New York City. He blends electronic beats with new & established vocal talents from pop, folk, & gospel backgrounds to create a musical soundscape as exciting and diverse as the city he comes from.

Originally trained in the limited studio hardware of the old-school house and techno eras, Dr. Dawg went off to medical school and returned to a world of virtual studios where he could bring any musical impulse to life.

His infectious sound has caught the attention of Billie Ray Martin who worked with him to produce a new remix of her track Systems of Silence. His remixes have been used on national television and can be heard on internet radio stations worldwide.

Expect more collaborations and intriguing original productions from this rising new artist.

Dr. Dawg's influences: Goldie, Doc Scott, Ian Van Dahl, Orbital, New Order, Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, Information Society, and Matt Bianco.
