Drew picked up a Harmony acoustic guitar at the age of ten, when the Beatles & Beach Boys were dominating pop music. He played in garage bands in the suburbs of Philly, with his fifteen minutes of muted fame being a spot on local TV, Al Albert's Talent Hour on a Sunday morning at the ripe old age of 13, with his band, The Continentals. Drew moved to Florida with his family and began songwriting and playing gigs around Gainesville while attending the University of Florida during the 70's, where Tom Petty was forging his early career. He followed the path of less resistance by pursuing a business career and easier living at the expense of following a lifelong dream of making it in the music business. Not a week goes by, where a melody doesn't play all day long in his head, and he wonders why he chose the path that he did instead. That said, he hasn't given up on the idea yet, his music carries a flavor of all those early influences, and the best is yet to come...
