Biography

In an unsuspecting small town in an even smaller garage, surrounded by memories and failures of the past, you can find more than spiders lying in wait. Among the silent telephones, tricycles, and equipment created sometime in the early years before christ, five friends were born into the music that defines each of their seperate existences. Out of the need for a release of creativity and the growing desperation of their everyday lives, Drowning in September was formed in October 2004. Since then, the band has been working vigorously and looking forward for opportunities to explode out of their small practice space onto any stage possible. Their mixture of poetic lyrics, energetic guitar work, and and unrivaled stage show, creates a powerful experience that is both agressive and refreshingly clean. A strong diversity of influences becomes apparent as you listen to the many different elements in their songs. Drowning in September has recently released their debut EP "Empty Bottles and Broken Dreams", which was recorded at Watchmen Studios with East Coast producer Doug White (Snapcase, Every Time I Die, Gym Class Heros). They are also looking forward to touring and the opportunity to spread their music to as many people as possible. The band is always striving to improve themselves with every song they write, with every goal they reach they aim to set the bar that much higher.
