Cracow quintet Dr Zoydbergh launches power-chord assaults with the unabashed fury of true metalheads, then interrupts with technically savvy axe interludes. What gives? In the half-precious, half-authentic mode of the Darkness or King Crimson, it's metal for rock geeks.

The band has already recorded two self-released demo albums. The first of them was produced in May of 2003 and consists of documentation of Zoydbergh’s first steps in the Polish rock scene. The second, called `Saturday Nightmare Fever Show’, was recorded in November of 2004. In March 2004 the band won first prize in the Review of Cracow’s Rock Bands called ‘Stacja Woodstock’ (Woodstock Station). Dr Zoydbergh’s music was also featured on national radio station Programme 3 in Piotr Kosinski’s ‘The Night of Musical Landscapes’. In March 2005 Zoydbergh supported Polish underground rockstars - Guess Why.
