And twang--sounds like a 12-string slide. He has got an old soul, this is the first editorial that I agree with. Maybe he just can't count--I can't believe he's 20 years old. I do only like the first track, though. It sounds like "Crossroads" by Robert Johnson. The tempo is what I like here, too, and I agree that Eli Cook is reminiscent of John Lee, Son House, and Elmore James. Now, this is electric, or Chicago, blues! And the editor's review is right here, too--no one is playing it like this anymore. I wish "Fixin' To Die" was the free download.

I love the Delta Bluse and I love to hear the Delta Bluse. This man is a very good passer onner of the Delta Bluese Genre. We must admit that we have a lot of music that might not be accessable from the libray of congress but I hope that Elis influences and his music is preserved somehow for everyone to hear now.

The classic feel of Led Zepplins Bron Y Ard Stp without the screaching vocals of Robert Plant. The Banjo adds a nice touch.
