Erfan was born on august 3rd 1983 in Isfahan, Iran. Only Sixth months later he began his journey through multiple countries, which meant him and his family would end up moving from city to city and home to home (mostly between Iran, the U.S and Europe) quite often. Being raised in a family who valued Poetry and literature very much, set the ideal environment for him to read much Farsi literature from poetry, philosophy and cultural studies to history, politics and religion. The lack of stability caused by moving, persuaded him to deal with attachment in a different way than most do, especially because of the clash of different cultures. He has always been very passionate about Iranian history and culture. He began writing creative literature around the age of 14, and from then on it grew to mix with his passion for poetry and music. He conveys much of what he's experienced in his poetry and uses that to show necessary changes in order to fix the issues at hand. He currently resides in the U.S and is Work on his first Album while finishing up his studies.

His music is simple, pure and original Hip Hop with forthright messages to his audience. The simplicity in his sound and the Persian rhymes that flows over the beats perfectly, all together is what Erfan's rapping is about. He is not into creating the fusion of Persian music elements in his music but believe it or not he thinks in Persian and he raps in Persian and he talks to his folk through his own Persian Hip Hop style. As an artist, "Erfan" is known for the complexity and poetry of his songs, which rely on wordplay, lyricism, and philosophical inquiry.
