Erich Netherton takes the lessons learned from Mickey Hart and company and puts a particularly eerie spin on his percussion-oriented instrumentals. Tabla beats collapse into sheets of synth, whorls of electronics, and, finally, bare reverbations in the unsettling and multidimensional "The Welcoming/The Forgotten."
