This acoustic instrumental group began as an extra-curricular project for Seattle area English teacher Scott Melton, and has graduated into much more than just a good excuse to play very old tunes at some pep rally in the school gym.

Biography

A purely organic, acoustic sound that is unlike anything else. Erwilian shapes their unique sonic blend around traditional melodies with distinctly modern influences. Instruments range from recorders, dulcimers, and guitars, to the more unusual - bouzouki, dobro, and didgeridoo - and just about everything in between. The same can be said of Erwilian’s music, an exciting combination of many genres, from classical to rock, new age to bluegrass.
