Editor's review

Pop-punk is a genre predicated on never growing old, but a little maturity proves not to be a bad thing on the Michigan act's latest. Now armed with properly scuffed vocals, tighter production, and the simple fact of being better at the guitar, the group makes a claim for inclusion with the big boys.

Biography

Consisting of various styles and backgrounds, Every Avenue hits the spectrum between the harmony and a brutal uproar of tone. Songs frequent from harsh to mellow, sharp to soothing, brilliant to faint and the lot in between. Comprised of vocals, lead guitar, backup guitar, bass, and drums, and never shying away from the occasional piano part or other forms to progress their sound, Every Avenue loves to experiment through determination. The four-piece works through an unyielding itinerary of writing and arranging the songs that they wish to make a staple in the music world. Be sure to remember Every Avenue because they do not plan to do any less than their finest. Every Avenue is from South-eastern Michigan and recently recorded a self-titled EP (to be released late April/early May 2004) and are planning a East Coast tour for summer 2004. They love their fans and appreciate all the support they can get. www.everyavenuemusic.com
