Editor's review

Death metal offers a slight inversion of Gandhi's famous quote, "You must be the evil you hate in the world," it argues, and gets down to business. There's no messing with that core vision for this nasty Italian group, which trots out its incendiary guitars with the low-end grime of the American bands and the crisp orthodoxy of Sweden's finest.

Biography

The evil machine formed in Pescara, in february/march 2001, by an idea of the initial members Raffaele Imperato and Fabrizio Di Nicola. After a little period of researches to estabilish the line-up, they found 3 remaining members.

The group was finally completed
- RAFFAELE IMPERATO (Guitar)
- FABRIZIO DI NICOLA (Bass)
- SIMONE LEONE (Vocals)
- MATTEO SARDINI (Guitar)
- MARCO CARDONE (Drums)

At the beginning they played above all covers of Swedish bands as Soilwork, Arch enemy, In flames, At the gates?but sometimes they turned to the American scene with Slayer and Testament.

That year they did many live shows, obtaining everytime all totally sold out and showing uncommon personal technics and an involving energy!

2002 was the year of the great occasion, appearing as the opening act to Necrodeath?s dates in Montesilvano and Ravenna

But after that, problems seemed to appear, Raffaele left the band because he wasn?t interested in metal anymore and then also Fabrizio left the group, deciding to continue studies far from his town?the situation wasn?t encouraging at all!

Remaining members,Simone, Matteo and Marco started searching for new members to go on?

That was a dry summer, without seeing a spider out of the hole?.

Until one of their friend proposed Tony, guitarist and composer, appreciating the genre.

Then arrived winter 2002?Tony, after a period of knowledge, belonged officially to the band?

They needed only a bassplayer?..but the thing wasn?t simple!

Between the end of the 2002 and summer 2003, they have been changing 4 bassplayers, meanwhile, leaving cover-playing, they concentrated on the explosive material composed by Tony. But there were still surprises?Matteo left the band in summer 2003, for the reason why he had decided to continue the studies after the highschool far from his town.

The left 3 members, examinating all people they knew, could find 2 brand new members during the period autumn/winter 2003

So..the Evil Machine?s tragedy seems to be finished?here is the official and actual line-up:

- TONY (Guitar)
- GIOVANNI (Guitar)
- SIMONE (Vocals)
- MARCO (Drums)
- STEFANO (Bass)

In spring 2004 they record their first demo ?Visions? in the Acme-studios in Raiano(Aq), producted by Davide Rosati

In dicember 2004 Marco Cardone left the band and after hard researches they found the substituted, Guido Borracino, who had already played in a grind band of the zone.
