The members of 1990s band Extraordinary Through the Bullet may qualify as future cult heroes. This English four-piece produced the kind of pre-Britpop British pop that is currently enjoying a renaissance. Fans of the Wedding Present, the Close Lobsters, and the House of Love will gladly hop into Extraordinary Through the Bullet’s jangly, melodic time machine.
Biography
Personnel: Guitar, main vocals: Simon Brighton. Guitar, vocals: Chris Jacques. Drums: Peter Mullins. Bass: 86-89 Steve Morgan and 89–94 Dr Digby Quested. Well received by press and public, signed to ‘Dem Illegal’ records based in south east England. Released 'London Weighting' 1988. Band became diluted by members moving abroad and going on to other projects.
