With the advent of hardcore music leaking into the mainstream, Fear Before the March of Flames are happy to just be themselves. Formed in July 2002, the band combines the temperment of the Blood Blothers with the intracacies of Converge and throws in a bit of Botch for good measure. What emerged was one of the most frantic, frenetic sounds to come out of Colorado. Buzz grew with the band, who soon found themselves opening for the likes of Underoath, Vaux, and The Blood Blothers.
After being approached by Rise Records, Fear Before the March of Flames recorded their debut full length, Odd How People Shake, in the summer of 2003. The band has been touring in support of the album since release, playing with favorites such as Anatomy of a Ghost and Dead Poetic.
Fear Before The March of Flames signed with Equal Vision in December 2003 and are on tour now.
