If Andy Warhol were alive today, Fischerspooner would be one of his favorite bands. As much into performance as they into the music, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner have come to be one of the most relevant acts in dance music since their hit single "Emerge" smashed onto the scene in the early '00s. With Warren's cold-edged electro production and frontman Casey's breathy, aloof vocals, they have a winning formula--and they're not sharing.
Biography
New York art and performance project, Fischerspooner, team up with French hipster label Kitsune to release one of the most anticipated singles of 2008.
The first of a 2-part release features Fischerspooner’s “The Best Revenge ”, a brand new track to be featured on Kitsune Maison 5 , along with remixes by Alex Gopher and Autokratz.
Fischerspooner`s fine ability to cross and blend genres of art and music makes their partnership with the multi-faceted fox of Kitsuné an obvious and powerful one. The result is something exciting, a beautiful synthesis of two pioneering artforces together prevailing forward, drawing out a musical landscape for 2008.
