Israeli indie-rock band g34 plays world-weary, impassioned tracks that suggest Brothers in Arms-era Dire Straits, particularly because its husky lead vocals, though sung in Hebrew, strongly recall Mark Knopfler. Traces of reggae and classical piano also infiltrate tight pop construction.
