Gary Ty Johnson

Gary Ty Johnson has claimed his place in the spotlight stroking the ears of the masses with his sultry baritone and clear tenor vocals. The title of his new CD says it all in few simple words, "Prince of Hearts" which derived from a heart shaped vein in his right arm. Gary's presence and talent is moving in the music industry like a windstorm, making a path with ease.
The Alaskan born, "perfect pitched" artist first discovered he could sing at the age of 6. According to Gary "I just stood in the mirror and imitated my dad, The Isleys, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, The Temptations and Nat King Cole" Once his parents heard him they began cultivating his artistic gifts, His mother often sang to him and encouraged him to learn the piano and his father taught him lead vocals and would keep him up late nights to sing around the living room piano. Gary started winning contests with his first appearance in elementary school.
By the age of 14 Gary started taking formal music lessons and began singing and composing original songs. 300 compositions, innumerable music honors and Accolades in school, a music conservatory internship, and a record deal later, Gary is showing the world that his steps are steady and on time.
Gary Ty johnson is multi-talented, a vocal stylist, music producer, writer and musician. His music refuses to stand still. It breaths! it moves! and yes it really gets down.
