Lush keyboard swells and ambient guitars drift amid the seductive melodies of this Italian sextet. While the core consists of live musicians, they utilize electronic techniques, bring in orchestral instruments, and work extensively with remix producers.
Started as a four-piece instrumental band in 1996, Giardini di Miro from Cavriago (Reggio Emilia, Italy) constantly enriched their basic instrumentation (guitars, bass, drums) with violins, keyboards, samples, bass clarinet, trumpets, piano and finally even vocals. Currently comprising 6 members, they have released a stream of EPs and singles, 2 full-length albums and a remix album.
