Biography

Generation Id builds guitar driven vehicles, mostly without the aid of the earth's atmosphere.

All instruments played and buttons pressed by Generation Id alone.

All tracks are instrumental widescreen soundtracks for unmade films, encompassing rock, latin, classical, jazz, dub and blues.

Amongst the tools Gen Id uses are:
a 70s fender telecaster (the best guitar ever), a washburn chicago series guitar with Blues Saraceno pickup, epiphone acoustic, harmony les paul copy, sansamp, alesis SR16, roland VS-840, Zoom PS02, RT234, Adrenalinn II, bongos, bigger bongos and an egg shaker.

Most tracks are recorded straight into the VS-840 using a sansamp rackmount and the internal reverbs of the roland. Drums are usually the alesis or the adrenalinn, as I can't get on with the zoom drum machine.

I have very little patience, so most solos are done in one take so I don't get bored.
