High Jack

This side project from an ex-circus musician is a collection of tracks made in the wee small hours as an experiment in mixing techniques. Normally you would find him in his new baby...The WAVEFORM MOBILE RECORDING STUDIO  www.waveform.com.au/bus.htm , Travelling around Oz recording all sorts of artists, as well as working on a bunch of new songs under the 'High Jack' guise, plus drumming in a rock band (type 'splinters' in the search engine above) or playing jazz & bluegrass fusion to whomever cares to listen, but sometimes a quirky little bit of 'Dance' appears to break things up a little. The track 'Phoney' contains samples from an old answering machine found on the street, mixed with some drum loops and a bit of keyboard(also from the street)  played over it & 'viola' one silly song. The track 'Sthrn Stylee' is an experiment with a home made guitar pickup that ended up as a finished (kind'a) song, but due to it's popularity in the 'Swamp Blues' section and my fondness for it, I'll be releasing a completely new version of it soon, now I've got me a 24 track studio of my own. High Jack is based in my mind mostly, which itself is in Sydney usually, but is most likely to be found lurking around music festivals in my 'Studio De Wheels'.
