Hillbilly Dust

Musician, singer, songwriter Allen Christie has hit the stage with a unique sound and energy that demands attention. His up tempo renditions of traditional country music couples with some progressive bluegrass has captured audiences across North America. With Hillbilly Dust you'll hear rich vocals, guitar, mandolin, banjo, autoharp and fiddle. They have taken their stage shows to concerts, rodeos, fairs, exhibitions, sporting events, jamborees and conventions throughout Canada and the United States. All their music is recorded and played live acoustically. Allen Christie leads his band as a vocalist playing guitar, banjo, mandolin and even at times a fiddle. Riley Tubbs fills in on bass guitar, mandolin, guitar and vocals. With such a wide variety of musical instruments the members are always changing from show to show to show case the best of what Hillbilly Dust has to offer. Allen himself has played with Ian Tyson, Dick Damron, Poverty Plainsmen, Steve Fox, Dian Chase and Julian Austin. This is a group to Allens main band, The Allen Christie Band.
