Eureka, Calif.'s Hot Whiskey plays with a whispered intimacy that makes Bright Eyes sound positively aloof. The group's brand of alt-country is rootsy, acoustic, and heavy on swooping harmonies, which fairly crumble under the burden of its sad truisms and everyday epiphanies.
Biography
You cannot wait to see these guys on stage. They have not forgotten that its not only the music but an entertainment that we seek. Swirling guitars and multi harmonic voices compliment the Singing range of Lead Singer Bryan Williams. You will not hear two songs from them that sound the same. A breath of fresh air in this industry of copycat artists and generic songwriting. Keep your eyes peeled for Hot Whiskey to really do something in the next year or so.
