i-Catcher Console is a full-featured digital motion-detection based CCTV surveillance system, designed to work with a wide range of video sources from the simplest USB Webcam to PCI capture cards and the latest IP video devices. Integrating with existing systems and as well as new systems, i-Catcher provides advanced alerting facilities via audio alarm, email, Web, network message or SMS, flexible custom configuration, powerful Web interface with user-based access controls, live feeds and playback, scheduling, archiving, and integrated control for PTZ (Pan, Tilt & Zoom) cameras. The Web interface is designed to be compatible with many operating systems and browsers by utilizing open standards. No software installation or ActiveX controls are needed for remote viewing. i-Catcher Console's operational model allow the system to take full advantage of HyperThreading, Multi-Core, and Multi-CPU installations, as well as multi-monitor configurations.

Version 3.0 build 49 includes completely new user interface, camera layout management, new Web interface with additional feed options & full user access control system, feed renaming, improvements to IP camera support including PTZ control, performance improvement, camera plan view.

  Very flexible and does exactly what I want

  Pros: I tried this along with several other CCTV products, and I have to say that this is the most flexable and full featured application available.

  It does exactly what I want including live streaming and access to all recorded activity remotely.

  Reliable CCTV Solution - I can watch my office from anywhere

  Pros: I have had i-catcher installed for over 12 months now and it works perfectly. I can watch live and playback recordings from anywhere.

  Best I've found - I have used most ALL

  Pros: Best motion detection program I've found - doesn't MAX your system out while running. Easy to setup - very flexible - has some nice features such as the ICE motion detion feature - or moving a PTZ camera to track motion. We currently have eight cameras set up for security and this program is by far the best we have tested.

  Cons: would like to see a better way to upload images via FTP
