Editor's review

If virtuosity in death metal is pretty much equatable to speed, this Swedish band has to win the day. For while it's doubtful other bands could be louder or nastier, it's near impossible anyone could be faster. On new single "Take This Life," skinsman Daniel Svensson pushes the group to squeeze 10 minutes of riff-raging metal mayhem into 3.

Biography

IN FLAMES' brand new video -- for the song "Take This Life" -- has been made available online. "Take This Life" is the roll-out single and video from IN FLAMES' wildly anticipated new album, Come Clarity, set for a February 7th North American release date via Ferret Music.

The "Take This Life" video was produced and directed by long time IN FLAMES collaborator Patric Ullaeus for Revolver Film Company and features the band (Bj?rn Gelotte - Guitars, Daniel Svensson - Drums, Peter Iwers - Bass, Jesper Str?mblad - Guitars and Anders Frid?n - Vocals) performing against the backdrop of New York City's Times Square as an evolving storyline unfolds. In addition to his video work with IN FLAMES, Ullaeus is known for directing the Lacuna Coil hit videos "Heaven's a Lie" and "Swamped".
