Editor's review

Interfector assaults the hallowed earth between one's ears like a Panzer division spitting nails. This Serbian group openly professes their hatred for all things that surround them and are forming their musical weaponry out of death and black metal influences to wreak sonic havoc and definitely damage some eardrums.

Biography

The band was formed in the city of Banja Luka (Republic of Srpska) on the cold winter morning of December 25th, 2000. by three good friends who decided that it's finally time to express their hatred for everything that surrounds them and to bring vengeance upon the world. The band stands behind the view that they will continue walking on the true metal path.

The inspiration for their deeds comes from the ancient and very rich Serbian tradition and history, and from everything around them (like aformentioned hatred towards the empty world, fiction, love/hate...). The structures of their songs includes everything from the raw old-school black metal to technical death, combined with progressive elements and ethnic folk sounds.

In the summer 2002, a new idea was born - and the band began desperately searching for a keyboard player. The solution was found in keyboardist and Belgrade-native ANTARES (Draconic, Consecration), a very good friend of the band. So, he did a great job on the album, with his perfect keyboard skills, and some vocals skills as well. He is now an equal INTERFECTOR member.
