It's bittersweet duty to laud a band that no longer exists. But as long as no-one destroys their masters, this erstwhile electro-pop duo are still worth your attention. Like the Postal Service or PlayRadioPlay!, IWaCS offer bedroom confessionals that could double as arena anthems.
I Was A Cub Scout WAS a UK-based duo comprised of Todd Marriott (vocals, guitars and synth) and William Bowerman (drums). I say WAS, because they recently broke up - major bummer! [Beggars Group] still put out their debut album I Want You To Know That There Is Always Hope digitally (now) and physically (June 24th), and despite the fact that they aren't a band anymore, this album is great and we hope that some folks still get to enjoy it!
