James Holden is a god of sorts to fans of progressive house. And he's one of few DJs whose mixing skills and immaculate ear bridge two very different groups, the progheads and the techno purists. This prodigy's productions and mixes frequently wind up in the crates of his influences, too--Sasha, Steve Lawler, and Lee Burridge among them. His new double mix on System, "At the Controls," is further proof that Holden holds it down.
