Biography
I write in a variety of genres, both spiritual and secular, but alas its all spiritual to me. Joni Mitchell, my biggest influence, said to "write in your own blood". That is indeed what I do. I like to create a mood, an atmosphere for the listener to enter into and think about the things I am singing.
My husband heard me fooling around at the piano in my spare time from raising 4 children. He said it needed to be recorded. I could have cared less. But he got me started recording and Im glad he did.
