Jess Brown

Originally from the UK, Jess Brown recently returned from a seven year stint in California to her home town in Devon.
During her time in the US she has developed her unique singing and songwriting style, drawing from a wealth of experience playing with blues musicians, folk artists, rockers and punks. She played in a three piece punk/pop band in San Francisco called the Blue Footed Boobies switching between lead vocal, rythum guitar and bass. Then after moving to LA in 2004 she formed another three piece band which she fronted and wrote the music for. She then got involved in another project as a duo, working with another songwriter/guitarist and really began taking the music to another level. Having moved back to the UK at the end of 2007 she is now reaquainting herself with the local scene and is planning the recording of the long gestating first solo album, TBA.
