Atlanta is the fertile ground that sprouted the singer/songwriter Jessica A. King at the tender age of fifteen. Her style has since evolved and matured, garnering comparisons to Melissa Etheridge and Ani DiFranco.
At the age of 15, Jessica King began performing around Atlanta, GA, sharing her blend of acoustic folk-rock. In 1998, she was runner up in the Lilith Fair Talent Search, putting her music on the same stage as local heroes Soul Miner's Daughter and Doria Roberts. Jessica released her independent album, Tequila Mockingbird, in 2001.
