Editor's review

The general problem with smooth jazz isn't the smoothness--it's the lack of focus. With Jessy J's latest, we get to have the sateen textures and legit melodies, too. The sturdy, often Latin-touched structures are also draped with deeply satisfying vocal and keyboard lines.
