Biography

Joe Honea has been playing with a guitar since 1972 and has been writing songs since 1975. While music has been mostly an off and on hobby, it has given him the opportunity to meet and work with many very talented musicians. Joe has collaborated with other writers on music from several different genres- from Christian Contemporary to Rock to Jazz.

When Joe is writing solo, his music is generally based in the Country genre, although he's been known to go off in many other directions, even a redneck rap. His funnier songs were originally released under his alter ego, Norm L Guy. Joe has retired the alter ego for now, but thought maybe he should bring back the songs and add a few more tunes as he gets them recorded.

Just keep in mind, this was all done for fun. So, have fun!
