Editor's review

The prancing horns and rumbling rhythms of mid-20th Century Hollywood soundtracks get an earnest revival in this composer's stirring scores. LoDuca's phrase about his own work “musically heroic” is perfectly apt: these are songs to save damsels to.

Biography

The Composer, Joseph LoDuca, has worked on various TV and film projects including Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess.

His original work for this movie combines unique orchestral themes and ideas with the indigenous rhythms and harmonies from various places in the story. It is an excellent and well-rounded example of his work, which is musically heroic, modern and audacious.
