Having the sort of whispery voice that's earned such mileage for Elliott Smith and Sufjan Stevens, this L.A. singer-songwriter could have made headway on either indie or mainstream avenues. Don't slander him for selecting the latter: Radin's Simon-esque ditties are what's right with major-label pop.
Biography
Songwriting is a very personal process for Los Angeles-based singer/ songwriter Joshua Radin; his songs capture the listener and keep them entranced from beginning to end. Each moment can become a snapshot in time generated by a specific creative spark for this upcoming artist. Radin is currently compared with the likes of Nick Drake and Elliott Smith and his songs have been featured on the NBC television sit-com Scrubs and FOX Television drama North Shore. Joshua's worldwide exposure has garnered interest from thousands of fans who eagerly download his singles "Winter", "Today", and recently "Closer" and who have purchased his debut album entitled: First Between 3rd & 4th. Joshua has also toured on the Hotel Café Tour in the fall of 2005 and will play a residency at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles in January of 2006.
