KE Peace is a composer of digitally-based classical and sacred music, both in traditional forms and more modern classical styles, as well as occasional arranagements of folk, chant, and/or other types of music. Her musical influences include medieval, renaissance, baroque, through contemporary classical styles. A classically-trained soprano as well, she writes vocal and choral music as well as small ensemble and symphonic pieces. She is currently studying composition with Ken Folsom, and is working on her first symphony. A special area of focus is sacred music of many world traditions, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu, and setting poems and texts by the saints and sages of these traditions to music.
