Creamy rock-steady riddims serve as a fitting backdrop for the prophetic words of Jesus Christ. Kinghopeton sings the scripture wholeheartedly while backing band United Force keeps a tight pocket of bubbling Jamaican soul. The Rastafarian’s version of the most famous prayer on Earth spiritualizes an already divine musical piece.
Very vibrant and testifying. With sweet soul and spirit of Reggae music in
Jamaica and around the world .. Hopeton Campbell was born in the parish of
St.Ann , In a little town of Orange Hill...He grew up in a loving environment
with the vision of being able to do great things under the influence of Reggae
music. While on his quest he found enlightenment through rastafarianism.
As he grew he learned the art of musical instruments ( Drums ,
Percussion , Keyboards , Piano ,Guitar etc..)and soon joined a musical group
originally called United Force.
Throughout the years of persistence and determination of the group grew as did Hopeton's wish to broaden his horizons musically. In 2003 he was able to open his Studio establishing it in St Mary (Jamaica) where he would finally be able to create and mix his own music while helping others acheive their music goals.
Hopeton has been running, mixing and recreating his own music and
lyrics since. His strong spirit and skills enable him to
reach all walks of
life in today's youths and other aspiring artistes as he continues to venture
and explore the field of music in all areas possibly can with the love of Reggae
being involved in all feel.
One love and always remember that everything starts from within. Apart from the Supreme Being (JAH) that watches over us , WE ARE OUR OWN GODs. Let us learn to love so that others can love as we love .
