Eschewing the guitar-pluckin' simpletons, this Toronto folk-jazzer seems to have gathered all of folk music's coolest instruments for his record "Up From the Ground." Putting everything from the dulcimer to the cittern to lush use, Elliott has assembled a warm, immensely listenable set.
