As you can imagine from his name, Krazy Baldhead is weird. But that's OK, because dance music really needs artists like this, especially after Green Velvet left his post to became a soldier for God. Baldhead, to put it bluntly, beats it. His music is basically Paris-meets-Detroit broken-beat jack, with some strange vocal interludes interspersed throughout.
As you probably know now, here at Ed Banger records we like it dirty, we like it noisy and we like it broken. KRAZY BALDHEAD knows that and he’s doing it well. To break it, he called his Brooklyn white b-boy TES on Crazy Muthafuckas.
To make it dirty he sliced some organs arpegios with some 808 beats on Dry guillotine, you’ll loose your head on this one !
Everybody is talking about the NEW RAVE… You really wanna talk about it with us? OK here we go! We asked Big Beat king and Wharehouse hustla MIDFIELD GENERAL to remix Crazy muthafuckas the result is a big room track (a little bit influenced by a famous 1990 rave anthem you all know), please throw your whistle in the air !!!
About Ed Banger Records
Founded in 2003, Ed Banger Records stands at the forefront of the dance music resurgence. Founded by Pedro Winter (aka Busy P), longtime manager of Daft Punk, as an outlet for new French acts spanning genres from hip-hop to thrashing electro and forward thinking dance sounds, Ed Banger has been steadily converting legions of fans internationally to their music, elevating the label?s status to cult-like levels.
Ed Rec Vol. 1 compiles select tracks from the early days of Ed Banger (Sebastian's raging H.A.L , Vicarious Bliss's Theme From Vicarious Bliss) to the present era (Uffie's infectious Pop the Glock, DJ Mehdi's suave I Am Somebody, featuring Chromeo). Despite the vast differences in sounds presented on the Ed Banger roster, it?s readily apparent that this label wholeheartedly represents the aesthetic sentiments of today; kids that grew up with hip-hop and dance music as their primary influences and fuse that background with a reckless mentality that consistently creates exciting results.
In addition to Ed Rec Vol. 1, VICE Records will release digital versions of 12?s and singles from Justice, DJ Medhi, Sebastian, Krazy Baldhead, Vicarious Bliss, and Zongamin.
