Melancholy horns meet earthy, down-tempo grooves as Kush orchestrates its cerebral moods one after the next. Thick, atmospheric texturing envelopes the organic brass instrumentation with ethereal appeal, while street-level drum programming locks down the bottom end with that superb, lo-fi grit and back-beaten attitude. Fans of late '90s DJ Krush should enjoy this.

KUSH is a unique musical experience. With bass, loops and samples, keyboards, percussion and trumpet, KUSH plays music from their souls. Nothing is pre-rehearsed. The music they play is created moment by moment and their rhythms are coordinated through intense concentration and connection between the musicians.
