ELEGANCE IN THE RAW

Yea yea, I know, elegance in the raw is an oxymoron for sure but when I listen to this artist that is what I hear. This artists' voice and style is reminiscent of the ladies of jazz from the 30's and 40's but it is so uniquely her own.
I enjoyed listening to this artist sing and I could feel the longing in her voice for the day when her man would come along.
I may not be too far off on the elegance in the raw remark because I noticed in the recording that there are no effects on her voice. This artist reminds me of a female version of Johnny Mathis and I'm looking forward to hearing more raw elegance from her.
