LaMala Leche , …The teen-age of every individual is a key factor to the development of characters, ideologies, life-styles and ways of thinking. All of which contributes bit by bit to the so-called "evolution of our society. Several years ago a group of teenagers met in a remote island of the Caribbean Sea called Curacao. All with a unique character, but with one trait in common: Music. Although not together but playing in different bands, these four individuals contributed to the growth of a new rock movement in that Tropical Island.
In November 2002, for some strange reason, these 4 guys, no longer teenagers, met in the city of Amsterdam. They decide to join forces to work on a musical project and "La Mala Leche" is born. All of Venezuelan origin except Clifford and Rafat whom are natives of Curacao, La Mala Leche is the mixture of different cultures, places lived, people met...It's the amending of mistakes made in the past. It's the expression of ideals and thoughts. It's the urge and need to transmit life. It's the continuation of years rocking around the Caribbean and compiling those experiences to tell our Story translated into the universal language of music. La Mala leche is: Clifford: Guitars and Lead Vocals, Carlos: Guitars and Backing Vocals, Rafat: Bass and Backing Vocals and Fernando: Drums.
"La Mala Leche" which in spanish literally means "Bad Milk" is a Venezuelan expression for "Bad Luck".
P.S.: Because of personal reasons the original guitarist of La Mala Leche left the band. His name is Anibal Ojeda. He recorded the EP with us and played roughly 2 years with La Mala Leche. We wish him lots of luck with his life and his musical career.
QUE VIVA EL PUNK ROCK, QUE VIVA LA MALA LECHE
