Editor's review

If you think Bob Marley sounds too landlocked, if UB40 suggests Fargo in February, you're probably listening to the ubertropical stylings of this Marshall Islands group. Lamaran imbues the warm upbeats and soft chants of island music with fuzzy synths and breezy vocals, all in the name of the truest mellow.

Biography

Yokwe or Hello from the beautiful Micronesian Islands, esp. Marshall Islands. This is a Reggae/Island Music Band. More than 6 albums over the past veiw years [Etto Leh Etto, Buuj Yokwe In, Yokwe im Kilton, 504, & Jema]& 3 live recordings [Live@Tide, Live@Side, & Live@L.I.C.]. If you like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, UB40, Alpha Blondy, with a lil bit of Island stylin. Try this Lamaran out this band with a twist of Reggae/Jawaiian/Island/World Music. Alex, Kakke, Paston, Julius, Enos, & Lata
