Who knew that early '08 would see a worldwide Mazzy Star revival movement? As though they're British counterparts to Baltimore lovelies Beach House, Newcastle's Lanterns on the Lake issue lazy ruminations over narcoleptic melodies. It's dream pop worth staying awake for.
Biography
Formed in 2007, Newcastle Upon Tyne, in the cold, damp, North East of England, Lanterns on the Lake play a sparkly blend of cinematic post-rock, indie folk-pop. Lanterns are Hazel, Adam, Paul, Sarah, Ol & Brendan
