Lifesystem

lifesystem first appeared on february 2002 in the town of leiria, when two members of a previous band (the blizzard) rejoined with the idea of creating new musical tissues and exploring a great range of sounds. gabriel sousa (vocalist) and nuno russo (guitarist) are the core of this project of alternative indie rock. some time later, fernando jos , ex-guitarist of the blizzard, and jo o madeira, joined the line up of the band as a drummer and bassist respectively. two years later (january 2005), fernando jos? jumped from drums to guitar and a new drummer, miguel moreira, was added.

in our curriculum there are some recorded songs that have received good reviews and were played in some radio stations; we also have been asked to make some music to different kinds of events.

stages are familiar to us, but now, with a well defined line up, the band is rehearsing intensely in order to play gigs in the summer.

our songs can be defined as a strange cocktail that you must deal with care, so that it doesn't explode in your face. listen to us, but beware...
