Editor's review

This Israeli trio covers both well-known traditional Jewish songs ("Avinu Malkenu") and lesser-heralded pieces. In most cases, a bouzouki takes center stage, and deservedly so. Amir Perelman draws a tender, affecting wail from the ancient stringed instrument.
