This Israeli trio covers both well-known traditional Jewish songs ("Avinu Malkenu") and lesser-heralded pieces. In most cases, a bouzouki takes center stage, and deservedly so. Amir Perelman draws a tender, affecting wail from the ancient stringed instrument.
Light Of The River (in hebrew or Hanachal) is Israeli group playing traditional Jewish music fusing influences from African, Indian, Gypsy and other world music.
The group members are :
Amir Perelman - Bouzuki and Percussions; Shai Perelman - Guitars, Vocals, Computer Arrangment; Omer Horovitz - Saxsophone and Clarinet; Oren Tzor - Violin.
