This ripping blues stylist rightly makes the point that his abilities "are not limited to the harmonica," but it's worth noting that his harmonica abilities seem unlimited. In Johnny's hands--well, mouth--the instrument takes on a lusty, emotive quality usually just found in a lead guitar.

Voted favorite local blues harp player by the Midwest Beat music Magazine. His ability's are not limited to harmonica, he fronts his band on guitar and writes and sings all his music. Johnny has paid his dues in the City of Chicago. Opening for acts like Magic Slim, BB King, Lonnie Brooks, Ronnie Baker Brooks and the late great Son Seals.
