Early in 2003, Jennie Farley and Steve Taylor met and formed a partnership, first romantic and soon after musical. Eventually adopting the moniker 'Little Silver', they have produced a strong collection of songs - music/lyrics by Jennie but brought to fruition with the help of Steve, who has often developed the songs from their acoustic roots into spirited electric affairs. April 2005: Little Silver recorded three tracks for an EP titled 'Midnight Mess' at Airfield Studios in Cornwall, engineered by Paul Reeve (Muse, Razorlight). The tracks feature performances from members of melodic rock band 'River', in which Steve also plays bass. August 2005: The songs 'Lost in Paris' and 'My Porcelain' (also voted April 2005 'Song of the Month' runner-up at online music community SongRamp.com) achieved recognition in the UK Songwriting Contest, a major international competition supported by some major names in the music industry, including The Brit Trust and the World Music Foundation. October 2005: Jennie and Steve featured in SongRamp's Artist's Spotlight (http://www.songramp.com/messages.ez?forum_id=6&Form.ShowMessage=36345).
